About the Role

Typical projects include baseline data collection and monitoring, fish passage and weir removal, fish rescue and translocation, water quality monitoring, pollution response surveys, and drought monitoring.

Your responsibilities will include providing aquatic ecology input into Ecological Impact Assessments (EcIA), planning, mitigation, and multi-disciplinary projects; authoring technical reports; undertaking data analysis and processing; producing EcIA documents in line with CIEEM guidelines; managing aquatic ecology input including survey design and costing; leading a team of aquatic ecologists across AECOM’s nationwide offices and laboratories; and supporting the wider environmental business.

At AECOM, you will thrive in an inclusive and forward-thinking environment with access to career development opportunities, flexible hybrid working, technical practice networks, AECOM University, and volunteering days.
