About the Role
Join AECOM's dynamic Nature team as a Senior Ecologist and contribute to shaping the future of the environment. You will work on a diverse portfolio of ecology projects across sectors such as power and renewables, infrastructure, environment, and transport. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including landscape, GIS, engineering, sustainability, and drainage specialists. Recent projects include some of the largest solar farms in the UK, energy transition initiatives, habitats regulations assessments, and masterplanning for new residential developments. Your responsibilities will include supporting health, safety and well-being of the team, preparing high-quality bids and tenders, planning and organising ecological project work, delivering consultancy and advisory services, developing pragmatic solutions to complex ecological issues, producing ecology chapters for environmental statements and protected species licence applications, and authoring or reviewing project deliverables to ensure high standards. Experience
Demonstrable experience in planning and delivering ecological services on projects within the UK or Ireland. Excellent field skills in at least one specialist area including protected species licences. Proven ability to produce high-quality ecological consultancy outputs and manage complex ecological issues.

Qualifications
