About Bristol City Leap: Bristol City Leap is an innovative partnership between Bristol City Council and Ameresco to accelerate green energy investment in Bristol and help decarbonise the city. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will play a key role in the successful commercial management and delivery of projects from pre-construction through to final account. Working closely with clients, internal stakeholders, and the contract supply chain, you will ensure projects are delivered profitably, on programme, and in accordance with contractual requirements. Key responsibilities include preparing and negotiating valuations, variations, compensation events, and final accounts; supporting bid and pre-construction teams with cost advice and procurement strategies; leading commercial meetings; monitoring subcontractor performance; undertaking site visits; managing commercial and contractual risks; and mentoring junior team members. This role requires commercial sharpness, hands-on experience in contract negotiations, and the ability to maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.
