We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Senior to Principal Sustainability Consultant to join our Benchmarking team. This role focuses on developing and delivering sustainable strategies, supporting the growth of our local sustainability offering as part of a wider UK team. You will proactively respond to evolving national and local legislative drivers and help develop the service offering.
Your key responsibilities will include leading the delivery of BREEAM projects; preparing Energy & Sustainability Statements and Life Cycle Cost (LCC) / Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) evaluations; managing your own workload to meet project deadlines; reviewing project details and developing sustainability targets; assessing documentation against project targets and providing feedback; maintaining project evidence trackers; communicating sustainability requirements to internal and external teams; producing advisory reports for clients and project teams; and attending site visits to monitor progress against sustainability targets.

Experience
- Proven track record of project delivery in sustainability consultancy
- Experience leading BREEAM projects and preparing Energy & Sustainability Statements
- Part L modelling experience (TAS preferable) and LCA experience (OneClick LCA preferable)
- Experience developing and managing others
- Emerging business development and sales skills with strong business development experience
- Knowledge of planning, environmental impact assessments, and wider sustainability legislation
- Working knowledge of building performance modelling techniques
- Background in building physics, environmental design, environmental science, or related sustainability disciplines
- Thorough understanding of the construction industry and built environment

Qualifications
- Relevant degree such as BEng (Hons), BSc (Hons) or equivalent/higher
- Qualified BREEAM Assessor
- Knowledge of or technical ability in building services related disciplines
