About the Role
Join Stantec, a global leader in wet infrastructure, and help deliver clean, safe water to communities across the UK. As a Senior Water Networks Modeller, you will apply your expertise to drive innovation within our industry-leading team. You will be instrumental in tackling pressing challenges by focusing on model calibration and validation, system design and performance optimisation, and strategic modelling applications. Your work will directly support the provision of clean, safe water through advanced hydraulic modelling, data analysis, and optimisation of water networks.

You will lead the technical delivery of complex water network modelling and optimisation projects, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and schedule. You will conduct advanced hydraulic modelling and data analysis to inform infrastructure planning and system-wide improvements. Additionally, you will develop and refine methodologies for model calibration and apply advanced data analytics for water balance, network performance analysis, and model validation. You will work in a collaborative environment, driving innovation and adopting the latest digital technologies in water network management.

Requirements

Experience
Substantial experience in water network modelling using software such as InfoWorks WS, InfoWater, SynerGi, or ArcGIS. Proven ability to lead and deliver complex impact assessments, growth studies, and optimisation projects.

About you
Degree educated with a passion for technical excellence in water network modelling and its direct application to complex problems. Strong leadership skills with a focus on technical delivery. Enthusiastic about innovation and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications
Degree in a relevant discipline. Chartership to a relevant professional body is preferred but not essential.
