About the Role
Join Stantec, a global leader in wet infrastructure, and help deliver clean, safe water to communities across the UK. As a Senior Water Networks Modeller, you will apply your expertise to drive innovation within our industry-leading team. You will be instrumental in tackling pressing challenges by focusing on model calibration and validation, system design and performance optimisation, and strategic modelling applications. Your work will support infrastructure planning, investment decisions, and the development of smart network operations. You will lead the technical delivery of complex water network modelling and optimisation projects, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and schedule. This role involves advanced hydraulic modelling, data analysis, and the development of methodologies to solve complex network challenges. You will also apply advanced data analytics for water balance, network performance analysis, and model validation, all within a collaborative environment that embraces the latest digital technologies in water network management.

Experience
Substantial experience in water network modelling using software such as InfoWorks WS, InfoWater, SynerGi, or ArcGIS. Proven ability to lead and deliver complex impact assessments, growth studies, and optimisation projects.

About you
Degree educated with a passion for technical craft and its direct application to complex problems. Strong leadership skills with the ability to work collaboratively and drive innovation. Enthusiastic about adopting new digital technologies and methodologies in water network management.

Qualifications
Degree in a relevant discipline is required. Chartership to a relevant professional body is preferred but not essential.
