About the Role
Join Kier Transportation as a Site Manager delivering a diverse range of projects for North and West Northamptonshire Councils. You will be responsible for managing critical maintenance and major civil engineering schemes including footpath reconstruction, carriageway resurfacing, surface treatments, drainage improvements, traffic signals, and structure repairs on live public highways. This role requires strong leadership, foresight, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Creating and championing a positive health and safety culture in line with Kier procedures
- Ensuring site compliance with Chapter 8 and Construction (Design and Management) regulations
- Interpreting documents, scheme drawings, and costing information in line with NEC4 contract requirements
- Ensuring quality of work aligns with inspection and testing plans, scheme designs, and current specifications
- Managing NEC4 change control procedures for early warnings and compensation events

Experience
Proven NEC contract management experience is essential for this role.

Qualifications
- HNC (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering
- NRSWA Supervisor certification
- 12D Traffic Management qualification
