36 hours per week (Monday to Friday), plus inclusion on a standby rota with additional payment

Up to £60,000 per annum depending on skills and experience
About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity to join our water treatment team as a Site Performance Manager. This demanding but rewarding role is based at one of our key operational sites — one of the largest water production facilities, providing high-quality drinking water to approximately 3.5 million customers.
- Ensure both Thames Water employees and contractors work in a safe and secure environment and go home safely and well at the end of each working day.
- Ensure Water Production sites achieve planned availability and reliability in terms of quality and quantity at the agreed cost.
- Lead the team and individuals to deliver exceptional service to both internal and external customers, working towards an improved SIM score.
- Maintain budgetary control in accordance with Financial Control procedures to meet the business plan (OPEX & CAPEX).
- Ensure team members understand performance expectations aligned with the company’s PDR process and timeline.
- Motivate, value, and engage the team in all aspects of their work.
- Maintain and contribute to a succession plan as part of the wider Water Production team.

Experience
- Previous process knowledge gained through hands-on development
- Technical ability and understanding of all process areas
About you
- Full UK Driving Licence required
- Demonstrates leadership, empathy, and a calm demeanour under pressure
- A great team player with the ability to work collaboratively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Qualifications
- Qualification in the Management of Water Production is highly desirable
- IOSH or NEBOSH training is highly desirable
