About the Role
We are seeking a Social Value and Sustainability Manager to lead, coordinate and champion the contract’s social value and sustainability commitments across two key sites in Chelsea and Westminster. This pivotal role ensures that contractual, environmental and community-centred obligations are delivered with impact, clarity and measurable outcomes. You will inspire others, build strong relationships and bring innovative approaches to engaging local communities and key partners. As social value delivery is a core priority, you will be the driving force behind community initiatives, carbon reduction plans and collaborative engagement activities. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing social value action plans, delivering all social value commitments, building partnerships with charities, VCSEs, colleges and community groups, and coordinating stakeholder engagement. You will also lead behavioural-change training on environmental and sustainability responsibilities, drive initiatives to reduce energy use, carbon emissions, waste and single-use plastics, manage the electric fleet and emissions data, support recycling schemes and coordinate wellbeing and community events. Staying updated on sector developments and implementing continuous improvements will be key to your success.
Experience
- Proven ability to build meaningful and productive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
- Experience in delivering social value commitments and managing sustainability initiatives
- Strong interpersonal and people-engagement skills with the ability to inspire, encourage and influence

- Excellent understanding of national Social Value frameworks and reporting standards
- Ability to coordinate and influence multiple stakeholders effectively
Qualifications
- Holds a full UK driving licence
- Relevant qualifications or experience in social value, sustainability or related fields are advantageous but not explicitly required
