About the Role
We are seeking a Zero Waste Lead to drive world-class circular economy and zero-waste solutions across our client portfolio. This role supports operational teams in delivering high-quality, compliant waste services while maximising performance and sustainability outcomes. You will work closely with contract teams and clients to identify opportunities to reduce waste, enhance recycling performance, and implement innovative solutions that support wider environmental goals. Key responsibilities include setting up and managing waste reduction plans during new client contract mobilisation, acting as the waste subject-matter expert, supporting bids and proposals, leading waste-related projects, and using data insights to assess and improve waste service performance. Experience
- SME-level knowledge of sustainability, zero-waste approaches, and circular economy principles
- Experience developing or working with zero-waste strategies
- Understanding of waste industry trends and operational environments
- Experience managing complex projects, including risk mitigation and KPI reporting
- Understanding of facilities management and waste or cleaning service delivery

Qualifications
