About the Role
You will be joining the Flood Risk Analysis Team in North Wales, within the Flood and Water Management Department at Natural Resources Wales. The team provides expert flood risk mapping and hydrological modelling services covering North and Mid Wales, including the Dyfi, Severn, Dee, Clwyd, and Conwy catchments, as well as the coastlines of North and North West Wales. This role involves delivering high-quality flood risk analysis to support NRW’s objectives and contribute to effective water management and flood risk mitigation across the region.
Experience
Demonstrable skills and experience in flood risk analysis, hydrological modelling, or related fields are essential. You will be expected to provide evidence of your expertise using the STAR method during application and interview.

- Welsh Language level requirement: Essential Level A1 (Entry level) – able to use and understand simple, basic phrases and greetings, with correct pronunciation of Welsh names.
