In this role, you will ensure the safe delivery of the municipal waste contract, leading effectively on health and safety. You will manage and motivate your team to deliver contracts in line with defined KPIs and specifications.
You will develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including clients, members, residents, staff, unions, and internal partners. Managing resources such as people, vehicles, and equipment efficiently will be a key part of your role, prioritising the wellbeing of our people and the communities we serve.
You will ensure compliance with Veolia standards, support assurance checks, and drive continuous improvement to enhance contract performance and customer service. Financial management is also critical, as you will oversee expenditure, offer additional services to clients, and manage budgets and monthly financial performance.
Additionally, you will assess the competency of Service Delivery Managers and Team Leaders through direct observation and support their development.

- Previous experience leading and developing a team in a senior operational role
- Financial management experience, including setting and presenting budgets
Qualifications
IOSH certification is required
