Hours
45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 07:00 am - 4:30 pm. Occasional Saturdays may be required with overtime rate applied.

Salary
Up to £32,000 per annum, depending on experience and skills.

About the Role
We are seeking a Warehouse Operative to join Thames Water permanently as part of the Inventory Operations and Supply Management team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe custody and real-time visibility of stock holdings. You will ensure a professional delivery and collection service across all Thames Water and Alliance locations, supporting operational teams during customer and operational incidents.
- Operate mechanical handling equipment safely, with FLT driving training provided.
- Use SAP to maintain accurate inventory levels and update stock records.
- Safely load and unload vehicles.
- Manage daily receipts from Distribution Centres.
- Action returns against work orders.
- Maintain good housekeeping throughout the site and stores.
- Ensure timely delivery and collection of equipment and critical stock.
- Safeguard Thames Water stock and equipment at all times.

Experience
Previous warehouse experience is essential.

About you
You will hold a valid, full UK driving licence and have your own transport. You should have excellent numeracy, verbal, and written communication skills. Basic computer skills, particularly in Excel, are required. You must be comfortable with manual handling, including lifting up to 25 kg. An FLT licence is beneficial but not essential as training will be provided.
