Hours
45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 07:00 am - 4:30 pm. Occasional Saturdays may be required; overtime rate applies.
Salary
Up to £32,000 per annum, depending on experience and skills.
About the Role
We are looking for an Inventory Operator to join Thames Water permanently as a Warehouse Operative. You will be part of the Inventory Operations and Supply Management team, responsible for the safe custody and real-time visibility of our stock holdings. Your role will ensure a first-class professional delivery and collection service across all Thames Water and Alliance locations, supporting operational teams during customer and operational incidents.
- Operate mechanical handling equipment safely (FLT driving training provided).
- Use SAP to maintain accurate inventory levels and update stock records.
- Safely load and unload vehicles.
- Manage daily receipts from Distribution Centres.
- Process returns against work orders.
- Maintain good housekeeping throughout the site and stores.
- Ensure timely delivery and collection of equipment and critical stock.
- Safeguard Thames Water stock and equipment at all times.

Experience
Previous warehouse experience is essential.
About you
- Hold a valid, full UK driving licence and have your own transport.
- Excellent numeracy, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Comfortable with manual handling, including lifting up to 25 kg.
- Basic computer skills, particularly in Excel.
- FLT licence is beneficial but not essential as training will be provided.

No formal qualifications are required; however, a willingness to learn and a professional attitude are essential.
