Salary
Up to £32,000 per annum, depending on experience and skills.
About the Role
We are looking for an Inventory Operator to join Thames Water permanently as a Warehouse Operative. You will be part of the Inventory Operations and Supply Management team, responsible for the safe custody and real-time visibility of our stock holdings. Your role will ensure a first-class professional delivery and collection service across all Thames Water and Alliance locations, supporting operational teams during customer and operational incidents.
Key responsibilities include operating mechanical handling equipment safely (FLT driving training provided), using SAP to maintain accurate inventory records, safely loading and unloading vehicles, managing daily receipts from Distribution Centres, actioning returns against work orders, maintaining good housekeeping throughout the site and stores, and ensuring timely delivery and collection of equipment and critical stock.

Experience
Previous warehouse experience is essential.
About you
You must hold a valid, full UK driving licence and have your own transport. Excellent numeracy, verbal, and written communication skills are required. You should be comfortable with manual handling, including lifting up to 25 kg. Basic computer skills, particularly in Excel, are necessary.
Although an FLT licence is beneficial, it is not essential as full training will be provided.

No formal qualifications are required for this role, but a willingness to learn and a professional attitude are essential.
