About the Role
As we expand our fleet of wind turbines in the UK, we are seeking skilled Wind Turbine Technicians with Gamesa technology experience to work on newly acquired turbines. This role involves travelling across the UK to assess turbine condition, perform troubleshooting, and carry out maintenance to ensure turbines operate efficiently and meet high operational standards. You will focus on resolving issues identified during walk-downs, addressing discrepancies, and preparing turbines for full integration into the fleet. Additionally, you will enhance the team's expertise on the Gamesa platform by guiding maintenance and troubleshooting tasks, mentoring fellow technicians, and collaborating with remote support to analyse data and improve operations. This is a hands-on technical role requiring mechanical and electrical problem-solving skills, physical fitness, and comfort working at heights.

Experience
- Level 3 Electrical/Mechanical qualification or equivalent work experience in the wind industry.
- Essential Gamesa Wind Turbine troubleshooting experience.
- Proven ability to resolve issues identified during turbine walk-downs.
- Comfortable with travel to various UK sites and internationally when required.
- Experience working at heights and physically fit.
