About the Role
Join Forestry England, a passionate team dedicated to growing the nation’s forests and making a positive environmental impact. As a Works Supervisor, you will support Restoration Officers in planning and managing the delivery of a landscape-scale habitat restoration programme funded by the New Forest Higher Level Stewardship (HLS) scheme. Your work will focus on restoring and enhancing internationally important heathlands, species-rich grasslands, woodlands, and wetlands within the New Forest. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to vital conservation efforts that improve biodiversity, create sustainable habitats, and provide enjoyable natural spaces for the public.

Experience
Experience in habitat restoration, land management, or a related environmental field is desirable. Proven ability to support and manage delivery of conservation or restoration projects is advantageous.

A full UK driving licence is essential due to travel requirements. You are committed to environmental conservation and eager to contribute to landscape-scale restoration projects.
Qualifications
There are no mandatory qualifications specified; however, relevant environmental, ecological, or land management qualifications will be beneficial. Candidates must have the ability to communicate effectively in accurate spoken English.
