We are seeking an Analyst Consultant (Consultant grade) specialising in Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) to join our team. In this role, you will provide technical support on a variety of ecology projects across diverse clients in the water, developer, infrastructure, and public sectors. Your responsibilities will include applying the BNG metric for project and options selection to support client proposals and operations, as well as preparing detailed BNG reports for client delivery. Experience
- Knowledge and experience of using the statutory biodiversity metric
- In-depth knowledge of UK habitat types and condition assessment data
- Strong GIS skills
- Experience producing meticulous and accurate technical reports
- Ability to communicate confidently with clients and stakeholders
- Organised with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Desirable Experience
- Membership of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM)
- Building client relationships
- Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams
Skills and Behaviours
- Self-starter capable of working in a small, busy team
- Excellent team working and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and sound understanding of technical requirements
