We are seeking an experienced Principal Consultant with a strong technical background in the water sector and the ability to manage projects throughout their lifecycle. This role focuses on water and environmental solutions alongside a wider array of consultancy services. You will be instrumental in helping our customers solve complex challenges to achieve sustainability.

Experience
- Significant experience in a relevant water-related environmental technical discipline such as water quality (marine and freshwater), surface water management, and hydro-ecology.
- Competence in water quality chemistry and understanding of links between water quality and aquatic ecology.
- Experience with environmental discharge permitting and knowledge of pollutant sources, fates, effects, and assessment.
- Understanding of remediation techniques for contaminated ground and surface water.
- Proven ability to present complex technical information clearly, both visually and orally.
- Experience engaging with UK environmental regulators.
- Excellent understanding of the UK water industry and its regulation.
- Strong project and programme management skills, including managing technically complex large water environmental projects.
- Experience managing proposals and winning work of significant value.
- People management experience with mentoring and staff development.

Qualifications
- Environmentally related degree, ideally with a post-graduate qualification.
