About the Role

We are seeking an Analyst Consultant or Consultant grade to join our Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) team. In this role, you will provide technical support on a variety of ecology projects across diverse sectors including water, development, infrastructure, and public sectors.
Your responsibilities will include applying the BNG metric to projects and options selection to support client proposals and operations, as well as preparing detailed BNG reports for clients. Experience
- Knowledge and experience of using the statutory biodiversity metric
- In-depth knowledge of UK habitat types and condition assessment data
- Strong GIS skills
- Experience producing meticulous and accurate technical reports
- Ability to communicate confidently with clients and stakeholders
- Organised with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Qualifications
- Membership of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM) is desirable but not essential
- Relevant ecological or environmental qualifications preferred
