We are seeking a BNG (Biodiversity Net Gain) Analyst Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will provide technical support on a variety of ecology projects across diverse sectors including water, developer, infrastructure, and public sectors. Your responsibilities will include applying the Biodiversity Net Gain metric to projects and options selection, preparing detailed BNG reports for clients, and supporting proposals and operations.

This is a fast-paced and challenging environment offering the opportunity to make a significant impact. You will be part of a small, busy team with strong support from the wider business, enabling career development and future opportunities within Ricardo Energy & Environment.

Experience
- Knowledge and experience of using the statutory biodiversity metric
- In-depth knowledge of UK habitat types and condition assessment data
- Strong GIS skills
- Experience preparing meticulous and accurate technical reports
- Ability to communicate confidently with clients and stakeholders
- Organised with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
