About the Role
Join AECOM’s Water Resources team and contribute to projects that make a tangible difference to communities worldwide. You will work on a variety of projects including dams and reservoirs, water supply systems, and flood risk management for both domestic and international clients. This role offers a diverse range of experience tailored to your interests and career goals within a supportive and positive culture that actively promotes learning and development.

Your responsibilities will include working closely with your manager and peers during the design phase, creating and modifying drawings using CAD software, producing calculations, and assisting with design tasks. You will support project management activities such as research, data gathering, and report preparation. Practical experience will be gained through site visits, surveys, inspections, and shadowing experienced engineers.

Collaboration and communication are key, as you will engage with clients, contractors, and other professionals to discuss project requirements, progress, and challenges. AECOM offers a flexible hybrid working model and a comprehensive benefits package covering health, finance, lifestyle, and well-being. You will also have access to career development opportunities, technical practice networks, AECOM University, and volunteering days.

We support your professional development through memberships with organisations such as ICE and CIWEM, complemented by AECOM’s Graduate Development programme which provides broader training and networking opportunities.
