About the Role
Join AECOM's Water Resources team and contribute to impactful projects involving dams and reservoirs, water supply systems, and flood risk management for domestic and international clients. Your responsibilities will include assisting with design tasks using CAD software, producing calculations, supporting project management activities such as research and report preparation, and participating in site visits to gain practical experience. Requirements

Experience
Relevant work experience is advantageous but not essential. Enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are key.

About you
Enthusiastic, hard-working, technically proficient, and ambitious. You should have good communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to work independently while maintaining initiative and focus. You must be capable of structuring and prioritising work effectively and considering wider financial and commercial implications. A demonstrable interest in water projects and the ability to satisfy client and business expectations are important.

Qualifications
BEng or MEng in Civil or Civil and Environmental Engineering with at least a 2:1 classification (or equivalent). MSc qualifications and water-related modules are advantageous. Basic computer skills (Word, Excel) and good report writing skills are beneficial. Willingness to work towards professional qualifications such as ICE and CIWEM is required.
