About the Role
Join AECOM's Water Resources team and contribute to impactful projects involving dams and reservoirs, water supply systems, and flood risk management for domestic and international clients. You will work closely with experienced engineers, gaining hands-on experience in design, project management support, and site visits. Your responsibilities will include creating and modifying CAD drawings, producing calculations, assisting with research and report preparation, and participating in client and contractor meetings. Experience
Relevant work experience is advantageous but not essential. Enthusiasm, hard work, technical proficiency, and ambition are key.
About you
Enthusiastic and motivated with a strong interest in water environment projects. Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Capable of working independently while maintaining initiative and focus. Able to structure and prioritise work effectively within a team. Willing to work towards professional qualifications such as ICE and CIWEM. Basic computer skills (Word, Excel) are essential; good report writing skills are beneficial.
Qualifications
BEng or MEng in Civil or Civil and Environmental Engineering with a 2:1 classification or equivalent. MSc in a related field is advantageous. Modules related to water are beneficial. Demonstrable interest in water projects and capability to consider wider financial and commercial implications of work.
