About the Role
At Too Good To Go, we have an ambitious mission: to inspire and empower everyone to fight food waste together. More than one-third of all food produced globally is wasted, contributing to 10% of greenhouse gas emissions. Through our marketplace app, we connect businesses with surplus food to consumers who can purchase it at one-third of retail value. We are a certified B Corporation committed to reducing food waste through education, innovative business solutions, and influencing legislation.

As a Commercial Planning Analyst reporting to the Commercial Planning Manager, you will support commercial planning, forecasting, latest estimates, statistical analysis, and performance modelling. Your role is to develop analytical insights that underpin commercial decisions by combining business understanding with statistical techniques, causal analysis, and AI-assisted workflows. You will ensure the team has the right data, reporting, and analysis to understand business performance and make informed decisions.

The Parcels business is fast-moving with many variables across countries, items, partners, parcel types, pricing, demand, and inventory. We seek someone curious about causal relationships, interested in applying statistical techniques and AI tools to improve analysis and forecasting. This role suits someone strong in commercial analysis, confident with data, and able to quickly grasp a dynamic business environment. You will bring structure, accuracy, and sharp analytical thinking to support the Commercial Planning Manager and wider Planning team.

What you’ll do
- Support the monthly latest estimate process by preparing data, analysis, and reporting to understand expected performance across key markets.
- Maintain regular planning and commercial reporting across sales, demand, revenue, margin, orders, AOV, conversion, item performance, and other key Parcels KPIs.
- Prepare analyses explaining performance movements, risks, and opportunities across countries, categories, parcel types, partners, and customer behaviour.
- Use AI tools responsibly to accelerate analysis, generate code, automate repetitive tasks, validate findings, and improve productivity while maintaining analytical rigour.
- Support budget and forecast cycles by gathering inputs, checking assumptions, preparing data cuts, and analysing movements versus previous forecasts, budgets, or actuals.
- Conduct ad hoc analyses to answer specific commercial and operational questions.
- Identify where assumptions hold or require further investigation.
- Support data quality checks to detect inconsistencies or reporting issues before they impact planning.
- Create clear outputs for planning reviews, leadership updates, and commercial discussions.
- Collaborate with the BI Developer to use trusted reporting datasets and translate analytical findings into commercial recommendations.
- Help transition the team from manual data pulls to more repeatable and scalable processes.
