About the Role
Clarkson Evans is the largest electrical and solar installer working in the new build housing sector, wiring over 20,000 homes a year. We partner with the UK’s leading housing developers and were delighted to be crowned Subcontractor of the Year at the 2023 Housebuilder Awards.
This is a fantastic opportunity to learn how our commercial department functions by gaining exposure to each of the teams within this area. You’ll receive training on how we pitch for business and complete tenders as well as producing drawings and documentation for electrical and solar projects. In addition, you’ll learn how we monitor the progress of these projects once they are underway.
You’ll benefit from a structured career path within the Commercial department with future opportunities to move into a management role.
You will manage dedicated customer accounts, gaining a full understanding of each client’s requirements and ensuring that our service is truly customer-focused despite our national scale. We focus on increasing turnover with both new and existing customers. Because we operate in a highly competitive market where margins are tight, carefully considered, accurate pricing is essential, along with top-notch customer service.
