About the Role
We are seeking a Data Analyst – Environmental Monitoring to join our team and support the accurate and timely processing and reporting of environmental monitoring data. Working closely with the Senior Data Analyst, Field Services, and Client Services teams, you will play a key role in ensuring project data is processed accurately, reported on time, and meets both client and business requirements. This role offers a great opportunity for someone with experience in environmental monitoring who enjoys working with data, solving problems, and contributing to continuous improvements in our processes.

Your responsibilities will include processing environmental monitoring data across specific projects and workstreams, ensuring data accuracy and timely reporting, providing regular updates to support internal reporting and project management, liaising with Field Services colleagues, resolving data-related queries with Client Services and Field Services teams, supporting bids, tenders, IT and compliance initiatives, identifying issues and recommending practical solutions, and helping to improve departmental efficiency, productivity, and reporting quality. You will also contribute to a positive and safe working environment through collaborative teamwork.

Experience
- At least 1 year’s experience within the environmental monitoring sector.
- Experience of data processing and report writing.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with data.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and working collaboratively across teams.

Qualifications
- Desirable: Experience of MP5.
- Desirable: A BSc in a relevant academic field or equivalent qualification.
- Desirable: Practical knowledge of Excel and other statistical software.
- Desirable: Experience working with data portals and/or laboratory LIMS systems.
