We are looking to appoint Design Managers to support major programmes across the South of England. As a Design Manager within our Major Projects community, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of major projects by bringing together skillsets from multiple disciplines. You will oversee all aspects of delivery, including design & build projects, detailed design delivery, and owners engineer services, requiring complex multi-disciplinary collaboration both internally and externally.

You will identify innovative and sustainable solutions, work collaboratively with clients and partner organisations, plan technical delivery, and lead multidisciplinary teams. Your leadership will drive best value and client service excellence, supported by Stantec’s world-class expertise.

Experience
Proven experience providing design leadership on major projects, ideally as a Design Manager, Project Manager, Project Engineer, or Project Leader. Experience working on large and complex construction or engineering projects, particularly within the water or related infrastructure sectors.

Demonstrated ability to build trusted partnerships with clients and stakeholders and to mentor less experienced team members.

Qualifications
