Join Stantec’s growing team to lead and develop project teams across major programmes in the regulated water industry, primarily across the South of England. You will work on exciting water projects that push boundaries and make a significant impact, partnering with top water clients across the UK to shape the future of the industry. Currently, we are actively involved in the design and management of major projects, including significant opportunities from our appointment onto Thames Water's Asset, Capital & Engineering framework.

As a Design Manager within our Major Projects community, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of complex multi-disciplinary projects. Your responsibilities will include overseeing design & build projects, detailed design delivery, and owners engineer services. You will identify innovative and sustainable solutions, collaborate closely with clients and partner organisations, plan technical delivery, and lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver best value and client service excellence. You will have access to Stantec’s world-class expertise to help exceed client expectations.

Requirements

Experience
Proven experience providing design leadership on major projects in roles such as Design Manager, Project Manager, Project Engineer or Project Leader. Experience working on large and complex construction or engineering projects, particularly within the water or related infrastructure sectors. Demonstrated ability to build trusted partnerships with clients and stakeholders and to mentor less experienced team members.

Qualifications
Relevant qualifications in engineering or project management. Strong understanding of large-scale construction and engineering project delivery within the water sector or related industries.
