You’ll work across a diverse portfolio of projects, providing strategic advice to clients and project teams on landscape planning, development and consenting. You’ll have the opportunity to work on complex and high-profile projects across the UK, collaborating with specialists across planning, landscape architecture, ecology, environmental planning and wider environmental disciplines.

As a Landscape Planning Director, you’ll provide senior technical and strategic leadership across landscape planning projects, helping clients navigate complex planning and consenting requirements. Your role will include:
- Leading landscape planning commissions, from project inception through to planning and consenting.
- Providing expert advice on LVIA, landscape planning, landscape strategy and development proposals.
- Supporting major development and infrastructure projects, including projects requiring complex planning and environmental consents.
- Preparing and reviewing technical reports, assessments and landscape planning evidence.
- Working closely with planning, environmental and design teams to develop integrated solutions.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and external partners.
- Supporting business development, identifying opportunities and contributing to bids and proposals.
- Providing technical leadership, mentoring and developing colleagues within the landscape planning team.
- Representing Stantec at industry events and helping to strengthen our profile within the landscape planning sector.

Your Impact:
You’ll play an important role in shaping how landscape planning is considered across major development and infrastructure projects. As a senior member of the team, you’ll combine technical expertise with commercial awareness and strong client leadership. You’ll help develop innovative, practical and deliverable solutions that balance development requirements with landscape, environmental and community considerations. You’ll also have the opportunity to help shape the continued growth of our Landscape Planning capability in London, working alongside colleagues across the UK and wider Stantec business.
