About the Role
Join our 2027 Graduate Programme as a Graduate Geo-Environmental Engineer and become part of a market-leading Energy & Resources Ground Engineering team. As a graduate engineer, you will balance technical learning with practical project delivery to support key environmental and ground engineering projects across the UK. You will be part of our national geo-environmental team of specialists within the wider Ground Engineering Group, collaborating with a broad network of GEO professionals across Stantec. While your core focus will be on Energy & Resources projects, you will also have opportunities to work across multidisciplinary teams in other sectors.

Your core responsibilities will include assisting in preparing qualitative and quantitative environmental risk assessments for land and water quality, analysing site data, drafting comprehensive technical reports, desk studies, and environmental assessments. You will have opportunities to support on-site fieldwork including soil and groundwater sampling, monitoring, and site supervision. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams across Transmission & Distribution, Waste & Generation, Minerals & Resources, Hydropower, Nuclear, and Water sectors.

We are committed to supporting employees in achieving relevant professional qualifications and accreditation. Supported chartership pathways include Chartered Geologist (CGeol), Chartered Engineer (CEng), and Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv). In this role, you will help assess and protect land and water environments for critical UK infrastructure and energy developments, contributing to sustainable land development and environmental compliance. Please note, graduates are expected to work in the office 4 days per week to ensure sufficient team support and development.
