About the Role
Are you self-motivated and organised with a curious mindset? Are you passionate about the environment, reducing water leakage and improving water networks? Join Thames Water as a DMA Performance Technician and play a vital role in creating healthy District Metered Areas (DMAs) through reducing leakage and enhancing the performance of our clean water network. In this field-based role, you’ll take ownership of a patch of DMAs, using data insights, field expertise, and problem-solving skills to maintain network health and deliver real environmental improvements. You will take full accountability for leakage and network health across your assigned DMAs, analysing flow, pressure, and asset data to identify trends, issues, and improvement opportunities. You will support leak detection activity and unaccounted-for-water reduction campaigns, develop and deliver both reactive and long-term plans to improve network performance, and respond to DMA points of interest with effective interventions. Working collaboratively with internal teams and contractors, you will ensure safe, high-quality, and cost-effective repairs. You will engage with customers and stakeholders, providing clear communication during planned and reactive works, continuously review performance data to drive efficiency and innovation, and champion a strong health & safety culture in all activities.
