This role offers a chance to develop your career by participating in projects that are leading edge for the water industry and critical to ensuring the long-term availability of water supplies for our customers.

As a Document Manager, you will support the Thames Water Strategic Resource Option (SRO) Portfolio team by delivering client-side document management under the direction of the Senior Information Manager and aligned with the SRO Digital Strategy.

Your responsibilities will include accurate management and safeguarding of the SRO portfolio documentation generated by Thames Water and technical partners. This includes processes, procedures, manuals, reporting, correspondence, and other supporting documentation.

You will work to tight deadlines, ensuring all internal and external parties follow consistent processes and procedures. You will deliver document control and management strategies, perform regular audits to confirm compliance with information deliverables, and ensure alignment with production methods and procedures.

This progressive portfolio requires flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines. Key duties include:
- Working closely with the Senior Information Manager to ensure standards, systems, procedures, and processes are effectively applied across the project portfolio.
- Supporting the development and implementation of a Document Management Plan.
- Acting as the central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, proactively identifying and resolving issues related to information management systems and processes through audits and continuous review.
- Maintaining project CDE tools, file structures, containers, workflows, and managing access control.
- Conducting quality assurance of documentation and information exchanges in line with Thames Water requirements, BS EN ISO 19650, and the UK BIM Framework.
- Supporting information management and collaboration through platforms such as SharePoint, Asite, and ProjectWise.
- Ensuring published documents are accurate, comply with company standards, and protect confidential information.
- Supporting the delivery of training related to information systems, tools, and processes.

This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to vital water resource projects while working in a supportive and dynamic environment.
