Salary
£41,429.28 per annum plus Veolia benefits. £5.00 daily meal allowance (per day worked, single person daily allowance: paid, dependant on the route).
About the Role
As a Driver/Operative at Veolia, you will play a pivotal role in delivering essential waste management services to local communities. You will be responsible for driving to planned collection locations and moving or emptying multiple commercial waste containers. You will ensure all information is accurately input into the onboard system and that all paperwork is kept up to date and submitted daily. Daily vehicle checks must be completed as per the driver operator handbook. You will comply with all traffic laws and legislation, including weight restrictions of loads. Additionally, you will ensure the carriageway is left clean and any spillages are promptly cleaned up. Experience
Essential: Class 2 (Category C) license, up to date CPC Digi / Tachograph Card.
Desirable: Previous waste management experience, RORO and Skip experience, Mobile compaction RCV / FEL experience.
