About the Role

As a Wash Operative, you will operate pressure washer machinery safely and effectively to clean a variety of vehicles. You will use degreasers and chemicals following health and safety risk assessments and method statements. Your duties will include maintaining an established cleaning schedule, providing feedback to improve efficiency, cleaning debris and waste materials from wash areas, and keeping tools and equipment in good repair. You will travel between local depots to carry out pressure washing as required and ensure wash areas are maintained for safe operation at all times. You will also complete vehicle washing logs and follow all health and safety PPE requirements.

Experience
Training or experience in the use of pressure washers is essential.
Ability to work alone and under pressure, actively seeking solutions to problems.
Flexibility to undertake a wide range of tasks.

About You
Possess good communication skills.
Hold a UK full driving licence (Car).
Hold an HGV licence.
Demonstrate reliability and a proactive approach to work.

Qualifications
Essential:
- HGV Licence
- UK Full driving licence (Car)
Desirable:
- Forklift licence (Counterbalance)
- Leadership experience
- Qualification issued by the Water Jetting Association (WJA)
