About the Role
Tetra Tech is seeking experienced Leakage Technicians to support the South East Water contract across Sussex. You will investigate clean water networks to identify leakage and unaccounted-for consumption using specialist techniques. Your role involves locating issues, supporting repairs, and helping the client meet performance targets. Working closely with field teams, maintenance crews, and using digital reporting tools, you will deliver accurate findings through step testing, pressure zero testing, and detailed network data capture.

Your work will directly contribute to reducing water loss, improving network performance, and supporting a more efficient water supply. Initially, you will strengthen your technical skills and gain experience in active field operations. Over time, you will handle more complex leakage investigations, develop deeper asset knowledge, and progress within a technically focused team delivering important environmental outcomes.

Experience
Prior experience working with water networks is essential. Competent IT skills and the ability to use digital data collection applications effectively are required.

About you
You must be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions across Sussex. You should be able to work safely in all conditions, including occasional night shifts. Teamwork skills are important as you will support maintenance teams and collaborate with colleagues to promote repairs and maintain delivery standards. A professional approach to safety and operational procedures is essential.

Qualifications
Essential: Full UK driving licence.
Desirable: EUSR Water Hygiene, EUSR DOMS, and NRSWA Unit 2 accreditation.
