About the Role
Forestry England is seeking a Facilities and Compliance Officer to join the Capital Development team at Westonbirt, the National Arboretum. This role will lead building and facilities compliance across nearly 40 built assets including tenanted properties, offices, visitor facilities, and dwellings. You will help maintain and ensure compliance of these facilities and support the District Building Surveyor with minor construction works. Westonbirt is one of Britain’s finest botanical tree collections and a Grade 1 listed historic landscape, welcoming over 580,000 visitors annually. This is a 3 year fixed term appointment with potential for extension or permanency, although this cannot be guaranteed. Requirements

Experience
Experience relevant to facilities management and building compliance is essential. Ability to support minor construction works and work collaboratively with surveyors and other professionals is required.

Qualifications
Relevant qualifications or experience in facilities management, building compliance, or a related discipline are desirable. Candidates must be able to provide conversation in accurate spoken English as required by the role.
