About the Role
Join Forestry England, a passionate team dedicated to growing the nation’s forests for everyone and making a positive difference for people and the environment. As an HR Advisor, you will be a key member of the management teams you support, acting as the first point of contact for managers by providing advice and guidance to improve people management capability and manage casework. This role supports teams across England, requiring travel including occasional overnight stays. We offer a flexible and inclusive blended working approach, allowing you to work some of the week from home and some from Forestry Commission workplaces, subject to role requirements and business needs. This fixed term appointment runs until 31st October 2027, with the possibility but no guarantee of extension or permanency. The role is funded by DEFRA and subject to government spending reviews.

Experience
Proven experience in providing HR advice and support to management teams. Ability to manage casework effectively and confidently. Experience working within a dispersed team and supporting flexible working arrangements is desirable.

Qualifications
