About the Role
Join AECOM and help build a more resilient future by contributing to nationally significant projects in flood and coastal risk management, resilience, environmental improvement and infrastructure planning. You will collaborate with industry-leading technical specialists to develop resilient solutions that protect people, places and the environment for generations to come. Opportunities include supporting flood risk, coastal resilience and environmental infrastructure programmes across England and Wales, ranging from catchment-scale studies and flood alleviation schemes to coastal adaptation, environmental enhancement, asset resilience and infrastructure investment programmes. Work alongside a multidisciplinary team delivering practical, sustainable outcomes that benefit communities and the environment. With one of the UK's largest multidisciplinary environmental and infrastructure teams, you will engage across the full project lifecycle from strategy and appraisal through to design and delivery, contributing to award-winning, game-changing water infrastructure projects.
Experience
Knowledge and experience in the Flood & Coastal Risk Management sector is desirable. Relevant experience within consultancy, contractor, public sector organisations, local authorities, regulators or infrastructure delivery environments is valued.

Qualifications
A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline such as civil engineering, environmental science, geography, coastal engineering, hydrology, project management or related subjects, and/or equivalent professional experience is required.
