About the Role
Help build a more resilient future by joining AECOM’s efforts to support communities in adapting to significant environmental challenges. Our teams deliver impactful projects focused on reducing flood risk, improving coastal resilience, enhancing environmental outcomes, and supporting sustainable infrastructure investment. We have a strong history of working with the Environment Agency, local authorities, water companies and other public sector organisations, providing expertise in flood risk management, coastal resilience, environmental planning, business case development and multidisciplinary engineering services.

We are inviting expressions of interest from talented water professionals to join our talent pipeline for potential future programmes and framework opportunities. Whether you are early in your career or an experienced leader, you can contribute to nationally significant projects that support the UK’s evolving flood and coastal resilience priorities.

Potential future opportunities may involve strategy development, appraisal, outline design, business case development and multidisciplinary technical advisory services. Projects could include catchment-scale studies, flood alleviation schemes, coastal adaptation, environmental enhancement, asset resilience and wider infrastructure investment programmes.

At AECOM, you will collaborate with industry-leading planners, engineers, environmental specialists, economists, project managers, digital experts and technical advisers to develop solutions that protect people, places and the environment for generations to come. We offer meaningful impact through life-changing projects, award-winning excellence, growth and career development opportunities, and a flexible work environment that supports a balanced work-life approach.
