About the Role
Are you highly motivated? Do you enjoy working outdoors? Are you enthusiastic and hardworking? If so, this Grounds Maintenance Operative role is perfect for you! You will join Glendale’s corporate team working across a variety of sites in the region. Glendale is a family-owned, market-leading environmental services provider, committed to investing in its people and offering valuable career prospects. Your duties will include mowing large grassed areas, strimming, blowing, line marking and renovation, hedge trimming, general maintenance of shrub beds, sports markings, hedge cutting, and hard surface spraying operations. You will be part of a company that values sustainability and environmental responsibility, operating as a Carbon Neutral business and delivering a full range of landscape services.

Experience
Previous experience in grounds maintenance, horticultural tasks, and use of handheld machinery is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided. Experience driving light commercial vehicles and towing trailers is desirable.

You must be reliable, conscientious, and have a can-do attitude with a willingness to learn. Ability to work on your own initiative is essential.

Applicants must hold a full, clean driving licence.
