Join Glendale’s Corporate team as a Grounds Maintenance Team Leader and become part of a company that values career progression and invests in its people. Glendale is a leading green space management service provider in the UK, specialising in tree care, grounds maintenance, and landscaping. As a Team Leader, you will assist the Supervisor and Senior Team Leaders in delivering programmed maintenance effectively. You will take responsibility for site operations including timekeeping, productivity, managing breaks, and liaising with the public, visitors, and deliveries. You will proactively lead by example, motivate and guide your team, and maintain workforce discipline. Additionally, you will ensure the safe operation and maintenance of company and hire vehicles, machinery, and equipment, including daily checks and servicing records. Other duties may be assigned by the Supervisor as required.

Experience
Essential experience in grounds maintenance. Confident in people management and adaptable to different working techniques. Experienced in using a wide variety of small engine machinery. Good IT knowledge is required.

Reliable, conscientious, and able to work on your own initiative. Strong work ethic with the ability to motivate and lead a team effectively. Awareness of all relevant industry Health & Safety legislation.

Qualifications
Must hold a full, clean driving licence. PA1 & PA6 qualifications are desirable.
