Join Glendale’s Corporate team as a Grounds Maintenance Team Leader and become part of a company that values career progression and invests in its people. Glendale is a leading green space management service provider in the UK, specialising in tree care, grounds maintenance, and landscaping. As a Team Leader, you will assist the Supervisor and Senior Team Leaders in delivering programmed maintenance effectively. You will take responsibility for site operations including timekeeping, productivity, managing breaks, and liaising with the public, visitors, and deliveries. Leading by example, you will motivate and guide your team while maintaining workforce discipline. You will also ensure the safe operation and maintenance of company and hire vehicles, machinery, and equipment, including daily checks and servicing records. Additional duties may be assigned by the Supervisor as required.

Experience
Proven experience in Grounds Maintenance is essential. Experience using a wide variety of small engine machinery is required.

About you
A confident individual with strong people management skills and adaptability to different working techniques. You must have a strong work ethic, be reliable, conscientious, and able to work on your own initiative. Good IT knowledge is necessary. You must hold a full, clean driving licence. Awareness of all relevant industry Health & Safety legislation is essential.

Qualifications
PA1 & PA6 qualifications are desirable but not essential.
