About the Role
Join Geowarmth, part of Hometree Group, as a Heat Pump Installer specialising in the installation and maintenance of air and ground source heat pump systems. You will work on diverse projects across domestic, commercial, and new-build sectors in the North of England, delivering innovative and sustainable energy solutions. Your role will involve installing heat pump systems according to manufacturer specifications and regulations, performing maintenance and repairs, system testing and commissioning, and providing excellent customer communication. You will also maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry standards. Experience
- Proven experience installing air and/or ground source heat pumps
- Experience with plumbing and heating installations including underfloor heating, unvented cylinders, and radiator circuits
- Familiarity with minor electrical work is preferred
About you
- Qualified plumber, pipe fitter, or heating engineer with a strong background in renewable energy technologies
- Reliable and able to work independently in the field
- Good communication skills for customer interaction
- Willingness to stay current with industry trends and undertake ongoing training
Qualifications
- Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing (required)
- Domestic HWSS (Unvented) Regulations Qualification
- Additional certifications such as HETAS, Gas Safe, F-Gas, ventilation qualifications, and CSCS card are highly beneficial
- Full UK driving licence with 6 points or less is mandatory
