About the Role
As a Senior Heat Pump Engineer at Geowarmth, now part of Hometree Group, you will take a leading role in the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of high-performance heat pump and emitter systems. You will ensure all projects are delivered to the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction. Alongside your technical duties, you will mentor and support junior members of the installation team, promoting best practices and developing their skills. This role requires a proactive, hands-on professional with strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and excellence.

Key responsibilities include leading and mentoring junior engineers, managing complex installation and commissioning projects, performing system installations including underfloor heating and radiator systems, conducting maintenance and diagnostics, troubleshooting and repairs, ensuring quality and compliance, championing health and safety, managing client relations, coordinating projects, and fostering a positive team environment.

Requirements

Experience
3–5 years of experience installing heat pump heating systems in domestic properties.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Commitment to safe working practices.

Qualifications
Minimum Level 2 Plumbing, Heating or Heat Pump qualification from a recognised awarding body (e.g. City & Guilds, SVQ).
Completion of Heat Pump manufacturer installation courses.
National Certification for Unvented Hot Water Systems: G3 qualification or proven experience.
Water Regulations WRAS qualifications.
CSCS card or equivalent health and safety qualification.
F-Gas Certification.
Gas Safety Registration (if applicable).

Desirable
BPEC (or equivalent) GSHP or ASHP qualification.
Low Temperature Heating Systems qualification.
