About the Role
The Government Property Agency (GPA) is the largest property holder in government, managing over £2.1 billion in property assets and more than 55% of the government’s office estate. We are transforming the way the Civil Service works by creating great places to work, leading major commercial office programmes, working towards halving carbon emissions from government offices, and delivering greater value for taxpayers. We are seeking innovative, solutions-focused individuals to join our dynamic and diverse team.

The HEO - Compliance Advisor will play a key role in managing the GPA Facilities Management (FM) Audit and Assurance programme across the estate. You will develop and manage the FM Audit and Assurance Plan to ensure statutory obligations are met, enabling safe working environments for GPA clients and occupiers. You will also monitor contractual compliance of FM suppliers, landlords, managing agents, and other government departments, managing non-conformance issues to ensure timely resolution.

This role involves building and maintaining effective relationships with suppliers and clients, contributing to risk management activities, supporting FM regional managers in audit activities, and promoting continuous improvement in compliance processes. You will contribute to the development of the GPA FM Strategy and provide recommendations for streamlined processes and solutions to identified gaps.

We foster a culture of lifelong learning and innovation, underpinned by our core values: striving for excellence, empowering through respect, acting with integrity, and succeeding together. Join us to make a meaningful impact where your voice matters and help shape the future direction of government property management.
