About the Role
As a Class 1 HGV Driver, you will be an ambassador for Thames Water on the road, upholding our values and delivering first-class customer service. You will be part of the Logistics Delivery team operating a fleet of Potable Water Tankers supporting both reactive and planned work. This essential role involves delivering water to our customers and learning to take water samples before loading and discharging into hydrants or reservoirs. You will follow established processes and procedures and be expected to drive both HGV Class 1 and Class 2 vehicles with manual and automatic gearboxes, as well as various support vehicles such as Welfare vans. Full training will be provided along with an excellent benefits package.

Experience
Proven experience as a Class 1 HGV Driver is required.

About you
Happy to work on a rotational shift pattern including days and nights.
No more than 6 penalty points on your licence and no DR or IN convictions.
Demonstrate a clear knowledge of Transport Law and the Road Traffic Act.
Working knowledge of Drivers' Hours rules and Working Time regulations.

Qualifications
A full driver CPC and a valid Driver Tachograph card are essential.
