About the Role
Join Veolia as an HGV Technician and play a pivotal role in keeping our diverse fleet of over 100 types of vehicles safe and operational. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include servicing, MOT preparation, and repairing HGVs to ensure our street side operatives can deliver excellent service to millions of customers across the UK. You will carry out routine vehicle inspections, maintenance, fault finding, and repairs in line with manufacturer and industry standards. Additional duties include completing all necessary paperwork and timesheets accurately and attending roadside breakdowns when required. Experience
Previous experience as a Mechanical Fitter or Technician is preferred, ideally with an NVQ Level 3 Vehicle Qualification or equivalent. Experience working on HGVs is highly desirable. Skilled or semi-skilled Technicians are encouraged to apply as upskilling and development will be provided.

You should be able to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential to thrive in this role.

Qualifications
You must hold a valid HGV driving licence. Relevant mechanical or vehicle maintenance qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 or equivalent are preferred but not mandatory if you have the right skills and experience. Veolia supports ongoing training and development to help you grow in your career.
