About the Role
Join Veolia as an HGV Technician and play a pivotal role in maintaining a diverse fleet of over 100 types of vehicles. Your expertise ensures the continued delivery of essential services across the UK. You will carry out routine maintenance and repairs on RCVs, waste management, and light commercial vehicles within a well-equipped workshop. Responsibilities include diagnosing and rectifying faults, liaising with the Workshop Manager to obtain correct parts, adhering to health and safety regulations, completing job cards and service sheets promptly, and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and product knowledge through ongoing training.

Requirements

Experience
Proven technical knowledge and ability in mechanical repair, preferably with experience in heavy vehicle mechanics and maintenance. Experience with waste/RCV vehicles and possession of an IRTEC Licence is desirable.

Qualifications
LGV Level 3 / HGV Level 3 qualification in heavy vehicle mechanics, maintenance, and repair or equivalent. A Class C Licence is desirable but not essential, as training opportunities are available. Thorough knowledge of current HGV MOT regulations and standards is required.
