About the Role
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Leakage Optimisation Analyst. In this role, you will play a critical part of the team by being responsible for highlighting issues related to the leakage-related suite of assets. This position is crucial to understanding and improving leakage within a region. You will be part of a team that delivers a unique service to our 14 million customers and join at a ground-breaking time for the water industry.
Your key responsibilities will include reporting and raising jobs for all faulty commercial loggers and prioritising as required to assist detection targeting work; leakage detection targeting in your appointed region using available systems; locating jobs and raising notifications promptly to ensure timely job initiation; highlighting, prioritising, and maintaining the DMA proving program to optimise team productivity; assisting the engineer with desktop exercises to improve operability; identifying and prioritising field-based validation or desktop activities to address operability issues or function set changes; and deputising for the Leakage Optimisation Engineer when required, including attending meetings and supporting the team.

Experience
We are looking for someone with a background in leakage or a strong understanding of clean water networks and processes. Experience using systems such as SAP and GIS is desirable but not essential.

You must have strong communication skills and be confident in organising a varied workload effectively with good time management. You should possess good analytical, problem-solving, and negotiating skills, and demonstrate a willingness to learn and work hard to develop your career within Thames Water.
Qualifications
A full UK Driving Licence is essential. A degree in a related subject is desirable but not required.
